  1. Are you healthy? Explain your answer?
  2. Describe what it means to ‘look healthy’?  How healthy do you look?
  3. What kinds of health problems have you experienced
  4. What things do you do that are good/bad for your health?
  5. When was the last time you went to a doctor? Why?
  6. What kinds of health problems run in your family?
  7. Which health problems are you most concerned about in the future?
  8. How do the health concerns of your generation differ from your parents or grandparents?
  9. What are some particular challenges for staying healthy as a teacher?
  10. What do you think is healthy or not healthy about the Korean lifestyle?
  11. What kind of health advice have you gotten from your parents and others?
  12. Did your parents ever speak to you about alcohol, drugs, and/or sexual activity?
  13. How often do you exercise?  What kind of exercise?
  14. How often do you get a dental check-up?

Nutrition Questions

  1. How concerned are you about nutrition?
  2. Do you have any special strategies for eating well?
  3. How often and what kinds of fast food do you eat?
  4. How much and what kinds of  processed food do you eat?
  5. To what extent do you eat a balanced diet?
  6. Which foods do you eat that are most/least nutritious?
  7. Which foods do you eat that have a lot of salt, sugar, fat, or other potentially harmful ingredients?
  8. Amongst your family and friends, who has the most/least nutritious diet?
  9. Which sources of food do you trust the most (stores, brands, countries, etc.)?
  10. How do different foods you eat affect your stomach, your mood and/or energy levels?
  11. Have you ever had food poisoning?  What from?  
  12. Do you ever look at nutrition labels? If so, do they affect your consumption habits?
  13. Are you concerned about pesticides, hormones, or genetically modified foods?
    Would you pay extra for organic foods?
  14. Do you take any vitamins or dietary supplements?
  15. What kinds of diets have you tried?  Which were effective?  How did they affect you?
