As a new semester begins, it’s natural to feel a mix of excitement and anxiety. This is a time for fresh starts, new goals, and endless possibilities. It can also be overwhelming, with new and confusing things to get used to.  Beginning any new chapter in life can be daunting, but it’s important to remember that it’s also an opportunity for fun, learning, and becoming better versions of ourselves. Take advantage of the resources, social connections, and beautiful little moments available to you. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone or try something new. There will probably be challenges and setbacks along the way, but it’s how you respond to those obstacles that will determine the ultimate direction of your life.  People don’t usually get to where they’re going all by themselves.  They have friends, mentors, collaborators, and a support system that help them along the way. Try to build relationships that will not only help you achieve your goals but probably help you enjoy the day as well.  Embrace this new beginning with open arms, a curious mind, and a grateful heart. Remember that every step, no matter how small, is a unique and essential part of your journey.

Teleprompter Sites & Apps

To calculate words per minute, divide the number of words by the minutes it takes to read the passage (first word to last word).

For example, if it takes you 2 minutes and 8 seconds…
 2 minutes and 8 seconds = 128 seconds.
 128 / 60 = 2.13 minutes.
 232 / 2.13 = 109 words/minute.
